As we fight for the security of our dreams within the uncertainty of our time, we are faced with the fundamental question: do we submit to the darkness, or open our eyes and fight together in the light?
‘90 Seconds to Midnight’ is an acknowledgment of this moment and an exploration of polarities: light and dark, color and the absence of color – the journey to find balance and alignment in an unstable world. On January 24th, 2023 the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists advanced humanity’s metaphorical Doomsday Clock to 90 seconds to midnight - the closest to midnight the clock has ever been. Although figurative, this gesture recognizes the feelings and realities facing humanity as we struggle to build a sustainable world.
The clock is ticking and we are the only thing that will decide in what direction it will move.
